Annnnd I’ve woken up to another gray, cool day here in Calgary. Come on, spring, push through! I sure can’t wait for more seasonal temperatures and weather, but for now I’m happy there’s some fresh snow in the mountains for this weekend! #silverlining 😉 Plus, it’s warming up already and next week is supposed to be above zero (not sarcastic – that’s just true joy).
I thought Friday would be a great day to share my final thoughts on X2Performance after trying it in various situations (first post about long runs and in the gym here, second post out in the back country skiing here). The video is on the longer side in the web world (just under 5 min), so if you don’t get a chance to watch it, I’ve outlined the key points in the text below.
Disclosure: I received samples of X2PERFORMANCE as part of a paid campaign. While I was compensated, all opinions are 100% mine and I am not obligated to share a positive review. “These statements have not been evaluated by the Food and Drug Administration. - Felt a boost of energy without any jittery side effects or crash.
- Felt enhanced endurance after taking the supplement.
- Tastes good! (like citrus)
- Didn’t upset my stomach during or after exercise.
- The price. At roughly $5 for 1 tube ($35 for 7 servings, $111 for 28 servings) it’s just too much to purchase for continual use.
Would I recommend it?
Yes! I’d start with a trial for the supplement as you can give it a shot for yourself, specifically if you’re training for a race or event coming up. It’d be great to try a few times first before your competition or to have some on hand for particularly long training sessions. So – would you give something like this a shot? I’ve never used supplements in the past, but I think it’s something I could get behind because of my experiences with it and if I had an event coming up.
That’s all I have for you today! A short and sweet post for a welcome Friday after a long but solid week. Anyone else feeling the same way? Have a great weekend, friends – live well & be well!
