It’s the weekend. Time for some rest, some relaxation, a few more treats and perhaps a glass of wine than during the week, and some prep for the week ahead. Despite the fact that I had some popcorn and nibs last night out at the movies with a few girlfriends, I’m trying something different this weekend: focusing on the “Other 23:”

I want to focus on enjoying those few treats guilt free but only if I really want them, not because it’s the weekend. I want to keep up with my workouts but give myself those days of active recovery too, listening to my body and pushing it but only to a healthy point. I want to get out in the rain and move this weekend and make full use of my basement and body for strong workouts! I don’t want to undo a good week of clean eating and “start over” again on Monday – I want my lifestyle to remain consistent. 🙂
And so, I’m focusing on the rest of my 23 this weekend each day – care to join me?
