Hey guys! Happy Monday. Bringing you some inspiration in the form of: Reasons to Be Fit today – on this first day back after a holiday weekend for many of you; after long, indulgent meals; and maybe after relaxing more and moving less for others. I know I need a little boost every now and then to help me eat better, to push harder in a workout, to get out the door and RUN, and often photos like these below will do it for me! Maybe you’ll find some motivation in them on this Monday as well:
I really found these words, the photos, and the motivation they gave me to be a fitness inspiration…so I decided to do a few of my own, thanks to the editing fun of Picasa. Here are some of my own reasons to be fit:
Simple thought of the day for you: What is one of your reasons to be fit? Find it, dwell on it, and use it to motivate you to move! Or to make a better decision in your lunch choice. Or to choose to stop at the gym instead of flop on the couch after work. And please, share with me some of your reasons in the comments – I’d love to hear what gets YOU moving.
And in the theme of hardcore photos, here’s my friend Kate, who recently rocked the Dubai 1/2 Marathon in her new hometown.
She read my post about being hardcore and running in the cold and sent me this picture! It’s from Calgary where she ran a few miles to work after her husband left with the car (they work for the same company) so she had no other option! The picture is of her coldest run at –27 C (-26.6 F)! Now that’s hardcore. Got any hardcore pics to send me or photos of you living out your own reason to be fit?
