Happy Monday, everyone! I hope you had a great weekend and are ready to jump into whatever the week ahead holds in store for you. How about we start this Monday off right – with a winner from the Simply Bar giveaway! Using the True Random Number Generator the winner is… Sabrina!
Sabrina – send me your mailing address (bonnie.lang.fitness@gmail.com) and I’ll have the package sent to the address provided. Congrats! Thanks to The Simply Bar for the generous donation!
And thanks to everyone for writing about your switches – now your healthy “resolutions” of sorts are out there for all to see, and as we’re currently half way through January, now is a good time to reevaluate what your goals are and how you’ve been doing. Most people quit their goals after 3 weeks…don’t let this be you! Need accountability? Find a friend or spouse to share your goals with, or even write in and comment and we can help keep each other on the right path. Get bored working out? Find a workout buddy, try a new class together, and switch up your exercise routine! Need some motivation? Buy a new book geared towards your goals (ie: cycling, running, climbing, etc!) or hire a personal trainer!

I’m excited as we cruise through the month of January for several reasons: the momentum to live healthy cis fun to ride in the beginning of the year; there’s still skiing to be had; it’s fun to look ahead and not be able to anticipate where life will lead in the next 11 months; and today, in particular, it’s SUNNY! 🙂 Everything is made so much better by some sunshine (at least when it’s -24 C out with (again) a windchill of -31 C!). It’s supposed to warm up this week and already temperatures have come up to about -16 near our house – perhaps that calls for a celebratory run? 😉
At any rate, my plan for the rest of the day is to get a bit of Vitamin D either through a run or a walk, do some housework and prep the rest of the week’s workouts for my clients, and enjoy a good veggie dinner that I finished prepping early (brown rice, lots of steamed broccoli, “Asian stir fry” frozen veggie mix, and a taste of Asian sauces…trying to keep my veggie intake high this week!).
So we started with a winner and ended with a veggie dinner…sounds good to me! Have a great week, everyone – live well and be well and check back in later for another good high intensity workout!
sounds like a geat plan! I love your outlook. Cheers to a veggie dinner too.
