My weekend, in a nut shell:
On the side:
- Some personal training Saturday & Sunday (squeezing people in where I can before we leave Wednesday morning!)
- Workout prep for the week at the gym/home clients
- Kayaking trip prep before the expedition’s underway!
- Gear prep
- Cleaning the basement before we leave
Phew! It’s been a good weekend complete with a few workouts mixed in with the treats, mainly in the form of Susan’s Abs Challenge. I haven’t kept up with the #RWRunStreak challenge – my body felt like it needed a break and I listened. So, that challenge is officially over for me, by means of an update, but I’m still continuing with the abs challenge and loving it!
Speaking of workouts, I just wanted to encourage you to get them in! You don’t need a whole hour, access to a shower (well, if you’re like me – I just hit the showers later), 😉 or lots of equipment or space. Get rid of the all or nothing mentality when it comes to working out (I know Kelly has stopped this thinking and I love that – she’s a workout machine now!) and make it happen: #noexcuses #makeitcount

Post-workout; I felt great! I LOVE the feeling after a workout and it’s one of the reasons that keeps me moving & motivated! PS – photo edits like this grainy effect from PicMonkey do wonders for muscle definition. 😉
